A Journey of Empowerment and Inclusion

There are moments in life when work becomes more than a job—when it becomes a calling. For me, supporting neurodivergent individuals has never felt like something I simply do. It is something I am deeply connected to, something that continues to shape who I am and how I show up in the world.

My journey began with a simple belief: every person carries strengths within them, even if those strengths aren’t always easily visible. Over the years, working with people on the autism spectrum taught me something profoundly beautiful—that our differences are not obstacles; they are signatures of who we are. Each person I meet brings a unique combination of talents, barriers, and ways of seeing the world. And it is in those differences that I find purpose.

At WISE, that purpose becomes my daily motivation. Every morning, I wake up knowing that someone is counting on me—not just to help them find a job, but to see them, believe in them, and support them as they take steps toward greater independence. For many of the individuals I work with, employment represents so much more than a paycheck. It symbolizes confidence, belonging, self-worth, and the freedom to define their own life.

My role is to help them get there.

I spend time learning who they are-what excites them, what challenges them, what dreams they hold quietly, sometimes unsure if they’re allowed to say them out loud. Together, we build resumes that reflect their strengths, practice interviews until they feel brave enough to walk into the room and develop communication skills that help them feel grounded in the workplace. I walk beside them as they navigate expectations that can feel overwhelming, celebrating each milestone, no matter how small.

But meaningful employment doesn’t happen in isolation. It requires partnership—and that is where employers become part of the story. I work closely with them, building relationships anchored in trust and open communication. When employers feel supported and informed, and clients feel respected and valued, something remarkable happens: workplaces transform. Strengths are recognized. Abilities shine. Inclusion becomes more than an idea—it becomes lived practice.
